Due to the extended need for our business, we are expanding our teams and looking for some extra power on the position 💥 QA Consultant 💥. QA Consultant will be responsible for planning and directing the policies, programs, and initiatives used to monitor and measure the overall quality of IT services, systems and software. One of the responsibilities is also to ensure that tracking systems capture useful operational metrics for use in reducing defects, improving service and optimizing the implementation process.
Work locations: Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina or remote (Adriatic region)
Key responsibilities:
- Understand client’s business needs and objectives, and how they relate to their development lifecycle process.
- Assess customer’s current state of processes and tools and within a Quality Plan propose a revised agile QA methodology, list of tools, processes.
- Define a tool for a repository of test cases, automated tests, test runs, based on business and technical requirements.
- Research and recommend new tools and processes to improve performance testing.
- Run Workshops to train team members on introduced methodology, processes, and usage of tools.
For this role, we value candidates who have:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT quality assurance or a related role.
- Experience leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles and methodologies (Agile, waterfall, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of common software test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of test strategies and approaches.
- Good understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery based testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English.
