Due to the extended need for our business, we are expanding our teams and looking for some extra power on the position 💥 DevOps Engineer 💥 to help us build our CI/CD platform (and all tertiary services).

Key responsibilities:

  • Use code to solve problems. Configuration, infrastructure, tooling, and automation, everything must be solved by writing code.
  • Designing and implementing new devops tools and techniques.
  • Design processes – working closely with feature teams to assist with the release of new products.
  • Helping design architecture, as well as owning the delivery of applications you will also play a part in designing the architecture, how it interacts with dependencies from a logical and infrastructure viewpoint.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and be part of 24/7 monitoring and alert response.
  • Configure and manage the Kubernetes container orchestration platform.

For this role, we value candidates who have:

  • At least 2 years in either a DevOps or a Developer role with a keen interest in solving problems using code.
  • Experience writing automation using Python/Go, Terraform and Unix Shell.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker or GitHub.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies. You understand the build and deployment cycle of an application and how it fits in to a global platform.
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting technologies.
  • Experience with AWS or GCP.
  • Understanding automation/configuration management like Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
